"I used to be a rebellious, rude and unhappy person. I liked to see things from a negative angle and always put people off. I drifted through life meaningless and I felt like dropping out of school too.

However, a new lease of life began when I found my faith in God. I started to have different perspectives, understanding that each of us is unique and special. In addition, experiencing the unexpected deaths of loved ones have taught me to treasure people while they are still around as life is really unpredictable: anything can happen anytime, anywhere.

When I adopted a more positive outlook, life just seemed to open up. I want to live my life to the fullest and can look back with no regrets. I seemed to enjoy learning and eventually, I completed my Master of Education, achieving five distinctions, including an elective module on Visual Arts and Creativity.

THKGThanksgiving is born with my gratitude towards God, people, nature and my passion in fashion design. It focuses on unique and chic designs, a fashion statement that subtly reminds us to appreciate nature, loved ones and ourselves. I hope that if we learn to appreciate more, we can do much more than we can ever imagine and the world will be a better place for all."
