It was with the passion to introduce alternative watch brands that Carpal Watch was set up as a watch distribution/retail company in March 2008 by Vernon Tan. A lot of friends and customers have asked why the company is called Carpal Watch as it is almost always associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Well, a carpal is actually part of the carpus that forms the wrist and since wrist-watches is what this company is all about and the retail shop being the first of its “carpus” network thus the company name.
