Secrets of Perfect Nude Lips

There’s a golden rule in makeup, in my book at least. If you’re going to do smoky, dramatic eyes, or even a dramatic outfit, then you will want to tone down your lips. Accentuate one thing at a time – otherwise, nothing will stand out – everything will just be too busy. To get perfect nude lips, the first step is to cover them with concealer or foundation. This not only gives you a paler base to work from, but a better surface for lip color to adhere to. Choose a nude shade with a pink undertone, which works with your skin tone, and don’t forget to add a slick of clear gloss over it. This will leave you with natural, but still sexy looking lips, that will let your eyes or your outfit do the talking.
