With an international cast of members flanking the desks of the CozyCot office, an interesting exchange of cultures occurs. As expected, there are some culture shocks - such as the lack of sodium in local foods, then compared to the cuisine our foreign friends are used to having. Or the Lost In Translation moments, when a word takes on another meaning, such as the word bug (often spoken in Singaporean accent as ‘bark’.) Thankfully though, all of us are friendly and despite the cultural differences, we’ve managed to come together in happy unison. Many of them, despite leaving their hometowns have brought with them their creativity, earnestness, and most importantly, their passion.
With a more international family, CozyCot is now in a better position to reach broader spectrums regionally, and perhaps someday, even globally. Look out for the new international milestones CozyCot will make in the near future!
