I've tried several cleansing oils in the market and non have delivered the same results as what Shu Uemura does. Been using this for quite a while now and it removes makeup and mascara effectively but does not dry out the skin. I was very much of a cleansing milk person till I found this product. I realized that there is nothing that can remove oil and makeup (especially in this humid weather), than oil itself. This cleansing oil allows me to remove all particles of my makeup, foundation eyeshadow, mascara completely and yet leaves my skin feeling great and clean! I also realized that to receive optimum results from this cleansing oil, the right technique must be used. Firstly, you need to gently massage the cleansing oil onto your made up face, then you use water to cleanse and massage thoroughly to get all the dirt and grime off. The massaging also stimulates the skin so that you can better absorb the nutrients from the product. The ingredients contains anti-oxidants which cleanses the skin while protecting it against the internal and external agressions associated with skin aging. This is definitely a product worth trying and which I will continue using for a while.

This is a great product which I have been using for 2 years. I use it as a makeup remover, as well as a facial cleanser on a daily basis.
Things I like about the product:
-It removes makeup really efficiently, even for stubborn waterproof eye makeup. Normally I used it at night everyday because I have sunscreen on. And the cleansing process is effortless, not aggressive tugging/pulling, just massage gently to get rid of all the products off your face.
-It leaves my skin supple and soft after each wash. Pores become smaller. Because I stay up a lot for my work, my skin looks rather tired after that. However, after massaging with this oil, my skin really looks a lot more radiant and firm.
Things I don't like about the product:
-Because it emulsifies upon mixing with water, it can get a bit tricky when used to remove eye makeup. Sometimes it just gets into my eyes and my eyes will be covered by this "white film" of the product. I become "blinded" for a while. Sometimes I don't get to massage my face properly because I have to quickly rinse it off my eyes.
-Like a lot of products, its effectiveness seems to be not as great as when I first used it. I don't know, maybe its just me.
-The oil leaks from the pump. Wasteful and messy.
However, I still love this oil. I'm actually thinking of trying the pink one, not sure anyone has anything to say about it? I still think Shu Uemura makes the best cleansing oil!

I've tried many different make up removers and Shu umera's cleansing oil is the only one which i've used for almost 2 years. This is really good especially for those who loves to wear waterproof eye liner and mascara. You can remove the make up easily with just 3 pumps of oil on a cotton wool and press it on your eye for a few seconds. Swipe it off and you'll see almost all the stubborn mascara and eye liner is gone! It is a little expensive but it is definitely one of the product you should consider investing!

For years, I used to only devote myself to Shu Uemura's High Balancing formula which is one of their classics oils. Not until I tried this one...
It really cleanse my face thoroughly, you can also feel it firms up your face after every wash and at the same time its scent also help to relax my tired mind after a long day at work. I just love its scent which kind of have this "aroma therapy-ish" going on.
I also use it as mascara remover and it works wonder! I use cotton balls with few drops of the cleansing oil and Voila! Mascara residue removed in an instant!
It's a bit pricey but it will last you a long time!!

find it abit exp but it work wonder . . it remove all makeup and particle and does not hurt the skin . .It can remove oil and makeup in singapore asian face and this wet weather, Love to knoe tt their ingredients contains anti-oxidants which cleanses the skin while protecting it against the internal and external agressions associated with skin aging.
Love the effect and cleanse well . , good to have it
