Where Art and Science Meets

 

This is what current year students of MDIS School of Fashion and Design are being exposed to. The Fashion Marketing and Branding programme has led them on an excursion trip to Singapore’s NEWater production plant in Bedok – totally beyond their imaginations. A valuable lesson learned, apart from the engineering and scientific skills involved in its production, our students see the importance of clear communication when promoting a water brand. Source, composition, treatment, sustainability and life giving properties are all part of the water story. The fashion marketing students will, no doubt, be incorporating these important stories in their bottled water marketing project which forms a part of their 100% assignment-based course.
