Actress farah alvin injured during show rehearsal

Actress FARAH ALVIN was hospitalised earlier this week (begs09Jul12) after she was injured during rehearsals for a New York stage show.

Alvin was preparing for upcoming production The Last Smoker in America on Tuesday (10Jul12) when a sign from the set struck her on the head. She was taken to the city's Roosevelt Hospital and had to wait for more than two hours to see a doctor, leaving producers worried they would have to call off that evening's dress rehearsal. However, medics told Alvin she had just suffered "a nasty bump" and she was allowed to return to the show, according to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.
