Fragile Tank Art Artist Jannick Deslauriers has created a life-size tank that's rather unique. The massive sculpture is a play on the contrast bet - the idea of a tank as a destructive vehicle and the fragility of the thread it's made of. In addition to the tank, Deslauriers has used fabric to create a poppy garden installation, a sewing machine and a typewriter. Using translucent fabric and dark-coloured thread against a white backdrop, the pieces appear to float. -
