Idol underwent surgery last week (02Nov11) to correct malformation of foot due to hitting a truck tire in road a year ago, as he explained via Twitter.com. He adds, Hit foot on shredded truck tire causing a hairline fracture a year & a1/2 (sic) ago and it was calcifying causing malform (sic) & pain. And the rocker admits that the painkillers he has been given are bringing back a lot of old memories: Nodded out & woke up in a pile of my own vomit! This is like the old days! But it hasnt all been a joke to Idol, revealing he is in pain and p**sed its gonna take a month & half to heal!!! The Rebel Yell singer insists he plans to use his recovery time wisely by working on already-recorded new material and penning his memoirs.
