Secrets of Playboy Hugh Hefner
Hugh Hefner was born on April 9 1926, and is an American magazine publisher, founder and CEO of Playboy Enterprises. In 2003 he was listed in Arena magazine as second on the “50 Most Powerful People In Porn” list. He married Mildred Williams in 1949, and they had two children, Christie and David. Just before the wedding, Mildred confessed that she’d had an affair while Hugh was in the army. According to Hugh, the admission was the most devastating moment of his life. It was revealed that Mildred, out of guilt, allowed him to sleep with other women, in the hopes that it would save their marriage. However, they divorced in 1959. He re-evaluated his life and made some changes after suffering a stroke in 1985 at the age of 59. Wild, all-night parties were toned down a lot, and, in 1988, his daughter Christie began to run the Playboy empire.
