The other day I saw a large sculpture of a motorbike, created entirely from defunct farm machinery and other steel items. This piece of found art piqued my interest. You may be wondering what found art is. As the name suggests, this can be any item that you find, either on its own, or as a part of another composition.
Another example that I’ve seen is sandblasted chunks of glass that were picked up on the beach, and combined with wire to create fantastic sculptures. Not only are these beautiful, they’re also environmentally friendly as this is a form of recycling – so get creative and turn otherwise useless objects into something beautiful!
