Bambino performs at coachella with broken foot

Rapper CHILDISH GAMBINO hit the stage at the Coachella festival in California on Saturday (14Apr12) with a broken foot.

The Freaks & Geeks hitmaker and actor, real name Donald Glover, performed with a surgical boot on his foot and asked fans to supply the energy for the set. He said, "I'm bouncin' with a broken foot!" Bambino's famous pals Kendrick Lamar and Danny Brown also joined him onstage to help him 'bounce'. The rap star was forced to cancel a number of live performances after he broke his foot during a show in Florida last month (Mar12). After a hospital visit, the hitmaker released a statement to fans, which read: "There's a good chance they can avoid surgery and (I can) start performing again soon. I'm really upset by the timing of this. Camp tour will go on, but dates will be postponed. I apologize for this and I hope to see all you guys very soon,." He had to cancel a performance at the mtvU Woodie Awards and reschedule a handful of shows - but his injury couldn't keep him away from Coachella.
