Burke sticks with twitter after threats

British singer ALEXANDRA BURKE refuses to give up her Twitter.com account after she was sent a number of threatening messages on the site, insisting she likes "living life on the edge".

The Bad Boys star was left shaken this week (beg09Apr12) after receiving a string of nasty tweets, and her management subsequently stepped up security at the launch of her new lip gloss line in London. Police launched an investigation, but Burke has no plans to scale back her love of social networking because of the incident. She tells Britain's Daily Star Sunday, "There's no way I'm giving up Twitter over this - I like living life on the edge anyway. "But I had to take the threats seriously and speak to police because of what's happened to other famous people in the past."
