Contostavlos 'really happy' with actor boyfriend o'connell

TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS' musician father has confirmed reports the singer is dating British actor JACK O'CONNELL.

The pair was first linked after being spotted on a night out at a London nightclub in March (12), but Skins star O'Connell dismissed the rumours, telling his Twitter.com fans, "Laughable these headlines are, pure bulls**t the lot of 'em. Boyfriend Me!? Kids please settle down. How old are these ppl (people)? Slap ya selves." However, Contostavlos' dad Plato has now revealed the young stars have been secretly dating. In an interview with Britain's Sunday Mirror, he says, "She really likes Jack. She told me, 'He is a really nice, down-to-earth boy' and I think that is what she likes about him. She is ­really happy with him. "I think Tulisa likes the fact that what you see is what you get with Jack. Tulisa wants me to take him fishing at some point, which I guess is a good sign. I really hope this one works out for her. She deserves it." The N-Dubz star previously dated her bandmate Fazer, but they split in January (12). Plato adds, "I think they had probably been friends too long. Fazer is like a son to me, and both Tulisa and I were upset when it ended. But it doesn't mean they will no longer be friends. They have known each other so long, that they will be close friends again in no time. Fazer is a good guy."
