Fun to set up same-sex marriage group

Rockers FUN want to use their newfound fame to launch a non-profit organisation backing same-sex marriage rights.

The band hit the big time after their pop anthem We Are Young, which features Janelle Monae, rocketed to the top of the U.S. charts and became the biggest-selling single of 2012 so far. Now the trio, who are all straight, hope to take advantage of their position to champion gay rights and start a marriage equality foundation. Guitarist Jack Antonoff tells The Washington Post, "We're firm believers in the idea that if you're not talking about it, you're part of the problem. We realise we have an audience, and it would be a real shame to waste it."
