Jackson film delayed over barrino pregnancy

Filming on FANTASIA BARRINO's upcoming biopic of gospel great MAHALIA JACKSON has been delayed following the singer's pregnancy announcement.

The former American Idol champion was due to begin shooting the film, titled Mahalia!, this year (11), but producers have now pushed back the start date until after the birth of her baby. Barrino, who has not named the father of her child, is due to give birth in late December (11) and is expected to start work on the project in January (12), according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
