Jackson's daughter: 'love tweets were just a joke, i'm single'

MICHAEL JACKSON's teenage daughter Paris has dismissed reports suggesting she is dating aspiring rapper ROMEO HODGES, insisting love messages exchanged bet - them were just "a joke".

After asking her Twitter.com followers to pray for Hodges following a car accident last month (Jan12), the pair's friendship appeared to have blossomed into romance this week (beg30Jan12) and when a mutual friend suggested "Yah (sic) should just be girlfriend & boyfriend already" 13-year-old Paris responded, "idk (I don't know) Romeo Hodges... are we?" The young rapper added, "Let's hope it's a yes... my heart has the answer." Paris also revealed she and Hodges had special song, sending followers to Christina Perri's Twilight love theme A Thousand Years video on YouTube.com. But, the young love is not for real - Jackson ended the week on Friday (03Feb12) with the tweet, "Dear media, I'm single...! Sincerely, it was a joke."
