Jennifer connelly named as children's charity ambassador

JENNIFER CONNELLY has followed in the footsteps of HUGH LAURIE and AMERICA FERRERA by signing up as an Artist Ambassador for Save the Children.

The A Beautiful Mind actress, a mother of three, is using her star power to raise awareness of the organisation which helps youngsters in need around the world. Connelly says, "I'm honoured to be an Artist Ambassador for Save the Children, working to ensure all children receive an equal start in life. An investment in our children is an investment in our future. "As a mom, I welcome this opportunity to help other moms around the world achieve the dreams they have for their children."
