Jessie j fails to make cash from hit records

Pop sensation JESSIE J suffered a $32,000 (£20,000) loss last year (12) despite topping charts around the world.

The Price Tag hitmaker enjoyed two Number One singles in her native U.K., her debut album Who You Are was a hit in ten countries, and her track Domino reached the top ten in the U.S. But she didn't make a penny from her stellar first year in showbiz as she had to cut back on touring after breaking her foot and also paid off industry debts of $944,000 (£590,000). Company documents show the singer posted a year-end loss of $32,000 despite raking in $576,000 (£360,000) from her live shows.
