Lucy hale lands record deal

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS star LUCY HALE is returning to her music roots after signing a record deal.

The 22 year old first found fame in 2003 when she competed in the American Idol spin-off American Juniors, but she went on to pursue acting with roles in Scream 4 and the teen TV series. Now, she's ready to pick up the microphone again after landing a contract with Hollywood Records. In a post on her Twitter.com page, Hale writes, "I can now share that I have recently been signed to Hollywood Records! I couldn't be more excited to share my music with you. "It's going to be diff (different) from anything you've ever heard from the label and not what you'd expect from me. Thanks for the support!"
