M83 star wrote album under the desert stars

M83 rocker ANTHONY GONZALEZ secluded himself in a cabin in the California desert to write songs for his band's critically-acclaimed album HURRY UP, WE'RE DREAMING.

The Spanish-French musician relocated from Paris to Los Angeles before starting work on last year's (11) disc and he decided to head to the idyllic Joshua Tree National Park to help him focus on the job at hand. The solitary trip worked wonders for Gonzalez and he was truly inspired sleeping under the stars. He tells Interview magazine, "I know I'm not the first musician who goes on a road trip to the desert to make music - and I'm not going to be the last. But it's amazing because it works. I rented this small cabin in the desert, made music, and enjoyed the landscape and the stars."
