Macy gray overcomes bronchitis for massachusetts show

Singer MACY GRAY battled through a bout of bronchitis to perform as planned in Cohasset, Massachusetts on Friday night (13Jul12).

The I Try hitmaker scrapped her supporting slot for Seal in Connecticut at the last minute on Wednesday (11Jul12) on doctor's orders. She received treatment in a bid to be fighting fit for her gig at Cohasset's South Shore Music Circus venue - and she took to the stage as scheduled for the concert. In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Thanks Cohasset fans for the applause, even tho (sic) i was sick. It inspired me to want to be way better. 'Find a way' - seal. I need that."
