Melanie chisholm calls for child neglect law reform

Former SPICE GIRL MELANIE CHISHOLM has thrown her support behind a campaign to change a child neglect law in her native England.

The singer is urging fans to back Action For Children, which calls on politicians to amend the criminal law in England and Wales as it seeks to punish offenders rather than prevent future neglect. In a message on her Twitter.com page, Chisholm writes, "Help us keep children safe. Pledge your support for our campaign to change the law in England and Wales." The pop star also shared a link to a website where fans can register their backing for the campaign.
