One direction receive guitar gifts from support act

ONE DIRECTION have been handed $32,000 (£20,000) worth of guitars by American rockers BOYCE AVENUE after they hired the group as their support act.

The British boyband invited the musicians to hit the road with them in the U.K. to help open a string of their tour dates, and the group has shown its appreciation by gifting the quartet with several top-of-the-range axes. A source tells Britain's The Sun, "The 1D boys were really grateful but it was a bit of a pointless present as only Niall can play guitar. "Harry, Liam, Zayn and Louis are now desperately trying to learn because it was a really kind gift. Boyce Avenue got each guitar engraved with a personal message so the boys would remember the tour. That's definitely made the rest of 1D feel obliged to learn a few chords now."
