Robbie williams kicks off the queens diamond jubilee gig
Former TAKE THAT star ROBBIE WILLIAMS kicked off QUEEN ELIZABETH II's Diamond Jubilee concert with the Coldstream Guards on Monday evening (04Jun12).

Over 10,000 ticket winners joined the Queen, her son Prince Charles and grandsons Princes William and Harry outside Buckingham Palace in London for the three-hour musical extravaganza. Williams kicked the show off with his pop anthem Let Me Entertain You as the sun set on an overcast London evening. He was backed by members of the second battalion of the Coldstream Guards, who regularly perform ceremonial duties for the Queen. Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Sir Tom Jones and Williams' former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, who planned the royal spectacular to mark the Queen's 60-year reign, are also scheduled to perform on a specially-constructed stage.
