Sharon osbourne cried at granddaughter's birth

SHARON OSBOURNE cried tears of joy as her son Jack became a father, insisting it was an "amazing event" to witness the birth of her first grandchild.

Jack Osbourne and his fiancee, Lisa Stelly, welcomed daughter Pearl on Tuesday (24Apr12) and Sharon can't stop gushing about her first grandchild. Appearing on her U.S. daytime show The Talk on Wednesday (25Apr12), she said, "Lisa gave birth to baby Pearl, a beautiful little girl... Healthy and gorgeous and it's like a new life... there's nothing like it, nothing like to witness it (sic). It's just an amazing event... Everybody cried, laughed, everything... "You go through every emotion, you go through, joy, and you know, you thank God that everybody's healthy and happy. You realise how happy you are, how lucky. It's like life has gone full circle in our family." Sharon reveals her husband Ozzy Osbourne was waiting outside the delivery room to hear the good news - and he was a nervous wreck. When asked about how the veteran rocker handled the birth, the reality show star joked, "That's for episode two! It's a whole 'nother show itself of what was going on outside the room (with Ozzy)." The Black Sabbath frontman has plenty of experience as a grandfather - he has five grandkids by his two children from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.
