Stacey solomon to star in biographical sitcom

British TV host and singer STACEY SOLOMON is to star in a sitcom based on her life.

Former The X Factor contestant Solomon will play herself in the show, written by Rob Colley and Dan Gaster. The semi-fictional series will also star British impressionists Phil Cornwell and Ronni Ancona, who have been cast as the star's parents. A source tells U.K. newspaper The Sun, "There’s a lot of excitement about this project. It’s not just another reality TV show, there’s a brilliant production team behind it. There’s strong interest from (British network) ITV."
