Usher: 'my ex spat at my girlfriend'

USHER attacked his ex-wife during a damning testimony in court on Monday (21May12), accusing her of throwing food at him and spitting on his girlfriend in a jealous rage.

After storming the stage with a showstopping performance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night (20May12), the Yeah! hitmaker took the stand in his bitter custody battle with Tameka Foster in his native Atlanta, Georgia - and he was not there to be kind. Under questioning by his attorney, he accused Foster of hitting him and blowing up when he arrived at their former home with his new girlfriend. He told the court, "She wanted to fight... (She said), 'I'm gonna kick your a**. B**ch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house? "She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the (car) door open, tried to swing at her (girlfriend)." Usher explained he had to get out of the car and block his ex, who then hit him as he tried to calm her down. He added, "She threw a plate of food at the car" as the singer and his girlfriend drove off. The custody case for the couple's two kids continues. Foster wants full custody, while Usher wants increased visitation. On the stand, Usher testified about his ex going through nanny after nanny and confessed he worries about the welfare of his sons. The couple wed in 2007 and separated two years later.
