When it comes to breast-feeding, we all know it is the best option for your child. However, it is not always convenient. In addition, if you want to continue to feed breast milk when you get back to work, you are going to need to come up with a plan. Buying a breast pump is one of the best options you can choose. Of course, there are manual pumps out there, which are generally cheaper, and can be used anywhere. However, they really are hard work! My advice? Get yourself an electric version, that works with mains or battery power, and you will be all set! Look for a breast pump that has a variety of speed and suction settings, and that comes apart easily for cleaning – it can be a pain to try and clean in crevices without an easily to disassemble version.
