Little kids love to color, draw and paint, however, sometimes, your walls, furniture and other items in your house will become the canvas – not ideal!
A good way to make sure that that never happens is to make sure that your little one never exercises her creative talents unsupervised. Of course, with young children, you should never leave them alone with crayons or other items that could be swallowed anyway!
Painting a wall, or the entire bottom half of your toddler’s room with blackboard paint is a great way to allow creativity, but still preserve the rest of your home. Give her blackboard chalk in all the colors of the rainbow to use, and she can go wild on the walls – plus, chalk washes off walls really easily, so if her artwork does stray out of her room, you won’t have any troubles.
