Recommended by a friend and was given a sample from the counter. Not a fan of cleansing oil though. But stil decided to give it a try. After using it to remove my make up i stil feel that my face is not as clean as compared to using a facial cleanser. It felt like there's another layer of oil on my face. Prob is because of my oily complexion. As a result, after using the cleansing oil, i have to use another facial cleanser to fully cleanse my face. Pleasant smell unlike other cleansing oil. However, i wil still stick to my normal cleanser.

Got my own bottle of ths when I was on holiday in Hong Kong.
Liked the smell of the cleansing oil very much as it got me relaxed.
Did not have much of a effect on me though, as I keep have the feeling of clogged pores after using, thus double cleansed my face, in case my makeup was not removed totally.
One thing to note is that it actually helps to reduce the redness on my face after using this product(My face is quite sensitive to washing). This product will not be my staple cleansing oil as it is too pricey for me, but will definitely get another bottle if I can afford it.

I was looking at replenishing my make up set at Raffles City Shopping Centre, Robinsons, hoping to be a radiant emcee at an impending wedding within my family. I was looking at a few of the major cosmetics brands and the sales lady at Shu Uemura was more helpful than others, teaching me how to use several products and particularly useful was for the Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil, as prior, I did not know I need to dab water on my face after applying the cleansing oil on my face, to emulsify. I have dry skin and after applying Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil, I use my index finger to touch my cheeks and I can feel the improved texture on my skin, moisturized, nourished and more radiant looking. From then on, Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil has become my favourite cleansing product. I love Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil and hope to be the lucky winner!

Shu Uemura cleansing oil is godsend for my combination, sensitive skin. My complexion flares up easily when I use products with very strong ingredient. Only Shu Uemura cleansing oil not only does not cause allergy, it removes every tiny trace of dust on my face. Not only that, it effectively removes makeup, heavy duty makeup dissolves with light swiping and washes off easily with water.
The cleansing oil definitely live up to its claims of winner of holy grail award 2008. Packaging is simple and price is a little too steep. Nonetheless, it is my favourite cleansing oil and will definitely recommend it to those with sensitive complexion.
