Does your mascara always seem to clump like crazy. Long lashes are great. Clumpy lashes, not so much!

What you need to do, first of all, is take a look at your mascara – is it thick, does it have a funny smell, and can you not recall the last time you replaced it? It’s probably gone bad then. Don’t try to thin it out or anything. Rather just throw it away, and buy a new one.

Next is the issue of apply thick layers  of mascara. It’s better to apply a few thin layers than to apply one, thick, clumpy layer. Build the color up gradually, that way you’ll end up with perfect, clump free lashes!

Lastly, get yourself a comb, and use it! Often, you can get a brush and comb combination together, which will help keep your lashes, and your brows, in good nick.

Nude Makeup

If you want to do nude makeup, you may be thinking you should just skip it altogether. Nude is nude right? Actually, wrong. Nude makeup takes just as much, if not more, care as the case may be.

As far as brows go, you could get away with a little slick of clear gel. Otherwise, use a pencil or powder to fill them in. Then add three coats of mascara to your lashes. Use a pale, bone colored eye color on the whole lid, then lightly cover the lower three quarters with a slightly darker biscuit shade.

I’m not someone who’s been blessed with eyelashes that would make a cow jealous. Up till now, I’ve made do with lengthening and thickening mascara, but I’ve just stumbled onto something brand new, that will solve all my lash envy issues: eyelash extensions.

Yup. These little beauties may have been invented in the east, but they’re making big waves everywhere now.

Bonded directly to your own lashes, individually, they’re completely indistinguishable from your own eyelashes, and since they’ve got Y and W shapes versions, they’ve got lengthening, and thickening of sparse lashes covered.

The best part is that they stay bonded until your lash falls out, usually after about six weeks, so once you’ve had them applied, all you need to do is visit the salon every six weeks or so for a touch up job. No more wrestling with falsies, or having them end up in your soup!
