So you have probably seen the gladiator trend by now. If you haven’t, where have you been? The good news is that everyone can do the gladiator sandal trend.

I am a big fan of shopping for classics. Rather than spend a fortune on trends that will be gone in weeks or months, I like to spend on classic items that will not date, and buy the trends at cheaper chain stores.

Who would have ever thought that we would look back to the eighties for fashion inspiration? That is exactly what we are doing though. The decade of power suits and socks worn with high-heeled pumps is the source of inspiration for a host of new trends.

How to Play Down a Generous BumDoes my butt look big in this? That’s said to be the question that most men hate the most. Second only, maybe, to “what are you thinking?”

If you’ve stopped even asking, because you know your bum looks big, no matter what you wear, then I’ve got a few hints for you!

Firstly, never, ever wear straight leg or skinny jeans. You have to balance your curvy butt, and the only way to do that is by opting for boot cut or wide leg pants.

Next, avoid detail on your butt, or opt for small, simple  pockets on jeans.  Anything to flamboyant on your derriere is going to draw attention to that area. For the same reason, you should avoid wearing tops that end on the butt – again, it will draw attention to the area, and make it seem bigger. Try longer length styles if you want to cover your butt.
