Ashton kutcher ad pulled amid racism complaints

Ashton kutcher ad pulled amid racism complaints
ASHTON KUTCHER's controversial new viral advertisement for potato chips has been pulled amid complaints of racism.

The actor sparked an outcry after donning brown face make-up and putting on a heavy Indian accent to play a Bollywood producer named Raj in the promo for Popchips, which debuted online on Wednesday (02May12). Popchips founder Keith Belling swiftly posted an apology on the company's website, assuring customers Kutcher's impersonation was only intended to "provide a few laughs". The clip has now been wiped from the Popchips website and also removed from other online channels including video-sharing site YouTube.com. Kutcher, who has yet to respond to the outcry, also portrays a dreadlocked Brit, a flamboyant fashionista and a Southern biker in the spoof dating agency video.
