Kyra sedgwick fired off at flashdance director over phone call

Actress KYRA SEDGWICK missed out on landing a leading role in FLASHDANCE after reprimanding director ADRIAN LYNE for taking a phone call during her audition.

The star is still embarrassed when she thinks about her meeting with Lyne and insists she'd never do something quite as ballsy today. Sedgwick tells The Hollywood Reporter, "My agent told me I was supposed to wear a leotard, heels and no tights. I had such bigger balls back in those days and I thought, 'I'm not wearing a leotard. Instead, I'll wear a little miniskirt and high heels.'" And then Lyne's phone rang during the audition and the actress flipped as he reached to pick it up. She recalls, "I turned to him and said, 'You're not going to answer that phone call. I'm auditioning for you!'"
