Macy 'put off' by wife's transsexual film role

WILLIAM H. MACY has revealed his wife FELICITY HUFFMAN's role as a male-to-female transsexual in 2005 film TRANSAMERICA really tested their relationship - because her role as Bree turned him off.

The Fargo star admits he struggled with the person the Desperate Housewives star became as she tried to get into character for the film. He tells Hustler magazine, "Where she went to find that character stunned me. It shocked me. I didn't know how to look at her for a long time. "To see such a work of genius from someone you've grown accustomed to put me off a bit."
