Secrets of an Era Themed Wedding

When it comes to wedding themes, all but the most adventurous tend to stick to tradition, and merely have a color scheme. However, there are plenty of other ideas out there that can make your big day memorable and special. For instance, you could take your inspiration from the twenties, or the wild west, or the Victorian era. Then, use that as the basis of your clothes – for instance, a flapper dress and slick hair if you choose a twenties theme, or period dress from any other era. Décor and food can also be themed in this way; although you will need to do a little research to get it right and guests should be told to wear costume too. Make the extra effort and you should have a memorable and unique day.
