Sentosa Weddings

 

Sentosa held its inaugural wedding show on 26th February 2012, Sunday, and it was definitely a unique experience for couples who attended the show. The event was held at Sentosa Pavilion, an air-conditioned glass pavilion overlooking the scenic Serapong Golf course at Sentosa Golf Club, a perfect venue for weddings.

 

 

The highlight of the afternoon was the bridal fashion show presented by The Prelude - a luxury multi label wedding boutique - featuring an exclusive collection of contemporary bridal gowns from leading US and UK designers such as Junko Yoshioka, Amanda Wakeley and David Fielden. The gowns were carefully paired with finely handcrafted Peranakan jewelry by Foundation Jewellers, recognized for their fine jewelry with rich heritage background. Couples were treated to a sumptuous high tea carefully prepared by Exquisite Tastes by Sentosa and Little House of Dreams, with live performance by Sparkle Live Music and wedding themes crafted by Chere Weddings & Parties and  florist Ace’s of Vase. Other partners such as Academy Videos, Knot’In Pics and Poise Atelier provided an interesting mix of wedding services and offers specially tailored for a Sentosa wedding.

 

 

After the show, couples were given an unexpected treat and brought on a short tour of wedding venues around Sentosa on a quaint trolley bus; the Glass House stands on the tranquil eastern coast of Sentosa Island, an ideal location for chic wedding receptions set against a stunning 360° backdrop of the South China Sea, and Sapphire Pavilion, located at Siloso beach, which enjoys unobstructed oceanfront view. These venues presented a unique proposition to couples who have always wanted a one-of-a-kind wedding.
