The Secrets of the Maid of Honor

As the maid of honor, you are the bride’s right hand lady, with many responsibilities. The most important duty that you have is to help the bride with all the wedding plans, and be her personal confidante. Other duties include keeping in touch with the other bridesmaids, and keep them up to date as to what’s happening. Help the bride get dressed on the big day, and cater to all her needs. You will also serve as a witness in the signing of the marriage license,

 

The maid of honor also has to assist the bride with her veil and train, if she has one, and take care of her bouquet during the wedding ceremony, and hold on to the groom’s ring until the appropriate time, and last, but not least, you will have to make a speech in honor of your friend’s new path in life.
