• Sunblock for body

After listening to Dr Tan about sunblock, i think should start to concern about body sunblock too......

I have Biotherm Protecting Body Veil but seldom use it. Questions for u all here

1. Do u use sunblock for body everyday?

2. What sunblock and whats the SPF u have?

3. Do u think your face is fairer than your hands now?

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!

1. Do u use sunblock for body everyday?

Started recently because my hands are getting darker.

2. What sunblock and whats the SPF u have?

Sunkiller body sunblock spray with SPF25

3. Do u think your face is fairer than your hands now?

YES !! ARGH

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!

The Sunkiller sunbock spray. Cheap ($16.90) and lightweight and very non-greasy. I like this over the Avene Sunblock Spray that i used to have.

No, though I should.

2. What sunblock and what's the SPF that you have?
For the body? I use either Shiseido's funny-looking bottle one with SPF30 (or at least, in Australia it's SPF30) or Faces of Australia's sunblock, also SPF30. It's getting cold here so I wear a lot of long-sleeves anyway.

3. Do you think your face is fairer than your hands now?
No ... it's night now so I can't really tell, but they're about the same colour IIRC. Then again, I recall my brother saying my hands look ghostly against a brown table ... so maybe wearing long-sleeves to cover them up from public view is not so bad after all. Heh heh.

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!
For the body, Faces of Australia SPF30. It is very moisturising, has SPF30, and is cheap. It's the only reason I wear sunblock on my body ... because my skin is dry and this fixes that, as well as giving me some protection from the sun! Unfortunately I think it is available only in Australia.

>>>I use the same one for my face- Fancl sunguard SPF35 or Dermalogica faceblock SPF25

3. Do u think your face is fairer than your hands now?
>>>Yes, definitely, at least 1-2 shades fairer!

>>>either of the one I'm using now is great!

Started recently after listening to Dr Tan and finding pigmentation spots on my forearm. BUT I only apply it on my arms and neck.

2. What sunblock and what's the SPF that you have?
I use Shiseido's sunblock. The one in the bluish bootle with yellow cap. SPF 30 i think... Very light, absorbs fast. I like!

3. Do you think your face is fairer than your hands now?
I think my face is very very slightly darker, which is bad!

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!
As above.

I use Clarins Whitening.

3. Do you think your face is fairer than your hands now?
Yes!!

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!
Have only tried Clarins and Shiseido so far. Clarins is quite ok. Very light.

No, I know i should. Am looking into one that is lightweight and doesn't feel sticky on my skin. I'm very particular when comes to body products. I choose and choose until i find a suitable one.

2. What sunblock and what's the SPF that you have?
Don't use any.

3. Do you think your face is fairer than your hands now?
Yes!! 2 shades lighter.

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!
Ok..i tried using shiseido but still very thick. I don't like it. Sometimes...only sometimes, i use RMK sunscreen on my forearms.

Ponine, do you have the ingredient list for the sunkiller body spray? How's the texture like? Does it prevent your body from darkening?

oh my, i read it wrongly .. i thought the question asked whether my hands are fairer than my face, not the other way round.

ok, is my face fairer than my hands?

no, they're either the same shade, or my hands are fairer. i think that's because my face is quite pink so it looks to be of a darker shade .. maybe? probably so.

J&J has a SPF 15 chem-free baby sunblock lotion (active ingredient is titanium dioxide), very gentle, no obvious sunblock smell and it's very cheap! around $7-8 only although I got mine for $5 from Guardian when they were giving discounts

Forgot to add that if you are really really really serious about your sunblocks or if you are having a day out in the sun and you *want* zinc oxide in it as well...

just get the J&J diaper rash cream $3.80 or thereabouts and just mix the 2 together for ultra ultra chem-free protection!

1. Do u use sunblock for body everyday?
I've started wearing a sunblock religiously 2 months back

2. What sunblock and whats the SPF u have?
Body: I use Banana Boat Quick Dry Sunblock Spray SPF 25 and Nivea Moisturising Sunblock SPF 20

Face: Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control SPF 15

3. Do u think your face is fairer than your hands now?
*Staring hard into the mirror now* I don't know...seems like the same skintone

4. Finally, recommend a good sunblock of your choice!
For body, I really like Banana Boat Quickdry Sunblock Spray. Very convenient and you don't have to take the time to rub the sunblock. Just spray and go! For face, think it has been raved before...Ayura's sunblock's great!
