Try Capello salon at Starhub centre ground floor, I like it there cause the shampoo girls are usually very nice and their head/neck massaging skills are pretty good, plus they never get soap /water onto your face/eyes when rinsing. Good place to go to get your hair washed if you don't like excessive small talk/chatter. Costs around $25 I think.

Ack... The shampoo girls at the Capello salon got my shirt behind all wet and soaking when they were shampoo-ing my hair.
The massage was overwhelming and I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride.

Is there any places that only offer head massage?

Wow, thats terrible and shocking, cause I go Capello quite regularly for the past 1-2 years, and I've never experienced such bad skills. I always thought that their shampoo girls are quite skillful. As for the massage, it prob boils down to diff preferences, they're usually very accomodating if you tell them to massage lighter/lighter.

            Yeah Mango .
Their massage is good but their washing skills are pretty bad. My aunt goes to Capello too and experienced the same thing as me.
            She gets pretty peeved too!

I personally like the shampooing and massage at Reds Salon at Bugis. They actually provide a 10 minute massage straight after you get back to your seat after the shampooing
(There is a timer involved too! )

Who did your washing and massage at REDs Bugis? I've been there twice for cut and rebond...but still wondering who I should look for for the wash cos the girl who does for me is so-so...

another place i went to recently & was quite impressed is Kids Hair Salon at Parkway Parade...they do quite a long head, neck and shoulder massage...

i remember watching on tv few years ago, this sharon au channel 8 programme where they featured this hair salon which specialises in hair wash/massage..all their staff are specially trained in hair wash and massage and many customers go to their salon for their specialty hair wash...but i did not catch the name of the salon...wonder if any of you have heard about it...would not mind trying it really.

the best so far is still batam...the creme bath...pure bliss and less than S$10 somemore...I'm real sucker for hair wash and massage...

                      hi there
cream bath is like ..they apply their hair mask and and wrap with hot towel..and proceed to massage your head and neck for u..procedure is about 1.5 hr cause it includes drying time too.

i only been once to jamu wellness at roxy square, no. is 63465297, costs me $45..its hard for me to gauge whether they massage alot or little cause i also included a 1 hr body massage..

hair is ok, not say very soft after that. i come to know that the cream bathe aka hair mask they use (got ginseng, avacado, carrot etc) is sold at the jamu shop at parkway for like $25. i rather buy from there and diy at home..as for massage can do it elsewhere cause jamu wellness charges $68 for an hr. but of cause they do provide good service..just that i cant bear to spend that month every month.

                      hth!
