  • MAC Pigments

I just realised that along with a jar of pigmet comes a leaflet, and on the leaflet it says:

    :shout: CAUTION:
The following shades are not to be used in the lip area:
Blue, Green, Violet, Steel Blue and Golden Olive.
The following shades are not to be used in the eye area:
    Fuschia and Bright Coral

The lip part, I understand. Who would want a blue or green lip?

But what I want to know is, has anyone actually tried using Fuschia in the eye area anyway? Any adverse reactions?

*another case of ai swee mai mia*

Whoopie! I'm glad to know that Fuschia did not cause any problems for those who used it in their eye area.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with it, lovely ladies!

Taken from wwwaromaleigh.com ...they sell pigments too and there's the same restrictions/ warning for certain colours. This is what they say:

Why not for use on the lips? Because the FDA says so... certain pigments are not meant to be ingested, according to the FDA. We indicate these with "Not for use on the lips"

Why not for use on the eyes? Once again, because the FDA says so. Certain pigments are of a size that can cause irritation if particles get in the eye via eyeshadow. Therefore, we indicate these as "Not for use on the eyes".

Jest is so much different from Melon pigment! Jest is kinda peachy frost, yes frost! and Melon is a peachy golden shimmer! You are justify to own both! LOL!

Stella, what other pigments are there at T01?
                              Is Steel Blue still available?
