  • Brands that are not available in SG

These are some of the good brands that are not available in singapore, so sad...

    1) Proudia (under Shiseido's wings)
I have emailed Shisedo Japan to find out if they are bringing this brand in, but they said no such plan in the near future...this brand specialises in makeup base only..i have read good reviews in taiwanese magazines...and always see this brand in Japanese magazines as well (of coz i cannot read jap , but this brand usually appears)...wish i can get hold of the powder foundation..! heard that it is very light-weight and yet can cover..and would love to try their liquid foundation too..

    2) ff (also under Shiseido, but a lower-price range)
they have nice eye shadows!! and even eyebrow pencil..i got them in taiwan's watsons...the price is really affordable, but too bad, we don have them here!

    3) Very very (think under Kao Japan)
they have some good products for acne-prone skin...there is a sebum care powder that really works well! i applied it after my sunscreen and base, before my powder foundation...also got it in Taiwan..

    4) Burt's bee
heard that this has the best lipbalm..

    5) Maxfactor
this is actually another must-have! i have used the powder foundation before (it is a sample, comes free with Vogue Taiwan magazine, so i got the magazine because of the sample!), it gives a natural finish but the sample's color is too dark for me...a pity!

i really wonder when we can see these brands in singapore! really sad...there are other brands as well...will go do more research and post them here...hopefully, some enterpreneurs will bring them in...

I think MaxFactor is not bad. But it is overprice in HK!! My cousin said that it is so much cheaper in the US.

US Drugstore items like JANE . Bonne Bell.
Jane's eyeshadows are pretty good for the price in US. They have colours pretty similar to MAC e.s and can fit into their pans.

Milani is also another nice e.s brand as well in US.

I Too Faced Cosmetics as well! Their eyeshadow duos are pretty lasting on me and the names for them are cute as well!

the list just goes on doesn't it? brands that are overpriced here or not available at all locally (USA, Japan, Taiwan, Australia etc) but then again, we do have alot of brands that aren't available in other countries & i feel that what we do have is a good mix!

I like this Australian brand called 'Chi Chi'.

Their lip glosses smells heavenly and the thing is that it lasts and lasts and doesnt cake or become weird!
                    And its very affordable.

Im *** using their handcream and body scrub.
Smells so delicious i *** wan to eat it all up.

                    packaging's cute too.

                              Neutrogena makeup

I know neutrogena's line of makeup (and many of their products) are not available in Singapore's stores...but does anyone happen to know any special places here that sell them?
