Hello gals! Can you all recommend any good facial scrub you've used before? TIA!

    Hi Gal,

I recommend Biotherm's Clarifying Exfoliating Gel..face feels so refreshed & smooth after using that!

Also Dermalogica's Micro Exfoliant...good for everyday usage, feels gentle on my face!

i'm using and liking the phytomer peeling vegetal which is a cream exfoliant with natural acids; i put it on, leave it for a couple of minutes and then wash it off - leaves my skin real soft and smooth

i've dehydrated oily skin and my facialist at LD and dily at wom-b both gave thumbs down to physical scrubs saying that they are harsh on the skin and they only sell physical scrubs coz people want to buy them. so anyway i tried the phytomer and i like it! furthermore, it's cheaper than the dermalogica exfoliating cream thing and the home gycolic peel things that the LD person and dily recommanded

i use phytomer peeling vegetal 1x a week and jurlique face wash cream 2x a week

jurlique is a creamy scrub with oat-like soft substances for exfoliating. this product is different from conventional scrubs in that you make a paste and then *pat* the stuff on your face until they stick together and then you wash it off. at first, i was skeptical about its efficacy but i was surprised that it worked - i don't know how but it does leave my skin very soft and moisturized. it also seems to dislodge stuff stuck in my pores better than conventional physical scrubs

however, the jurlique stuff looks disgusting, kinda like vomit (sorry to be graphic) and smells putrid (like rotten roses) but i've gotten used to it and i'll put up with it for the results

I have pretty sensitive skin and is using Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant too.. it's really mild and skin feels smoother and looks brighter after using this.

        I really like this scrub

Love Origins' Never A Dull Moment... though it might be a little greasy for those with oily skins.

Dermalogica's microfoliant- my current staple. Its amazingly gentle yet effective! perfect for fanatic scrubbers like me!

Dermalogica's cream exfoliant- an AHA exfoliant, not a physical scrub, perfect for dehydrated and sensitive skin. a must-have for my sensitive skin days when I need to reveal new skin!

Hey, thanks! I'm also a fanatic scrubber so I think I should try the Dermalogica's microfoliant! Btw how much is it?

pink dolphin, i can swap you a sample of the microfoliant if you want to try first. (I'm not keen on selling, too hard to quote a price for a trial size)

I use & like the Origin's NADM & Dermalogica Microfiliant. NADM smells nice & leaves my skin glowing but you have to be careful about scrubbing too hard as the bits are kinda sharp. Demalogica's is very fine & sometimes I don't think it's scrubby enough nor leave my skin glowing like the NADM does but it's a wonderful gentle scrub - great if you like to scrub often.

i like phytomer peeling vegetal too...it seems to control the oil on my nose too..
if i use it today..tmrw i will have a whole day of shine-free nose.

the jurlique scrub sounds like a good scrub...
but i dont really like their scent too..
the scent just smells like rotten rose or bundong (if u insist it shouldnt have smell so bad)
i used to have a jurlique herbal recovery....i really cannot tolerate the "scent" and have to swap it away.

KB is great although I would classify it as a cleanser. It has definitely made my skin brighter. Love it! Way better than the Microfiliant which I doubt I'd repurchase after I've used it up.

                            Thanks to all the raves!

Ya, I categorised KB as a cleanser too... not grainy enough to be a scrub for me. But love the baby powdery smell and the slight whitening effects.... a tiny bit drying though...anyone experience that?
