  • skincare - decisions, decisions, decisions

    HI all
need some help in making decisions on how-to-make-skin-better-with-less-money

currently i (oily, blemish-prone skin) use
    1. PC 1-step cleanser - tad too moisturising
    2. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - great stuff!
    3. Derma-rx - comedone formula
    4. Derma-rx - blemish formula
also embarking on sonic cleansing and possibly Vit C regime from derma-rx

thinking of getting from EDS the following:
Dermalogica clay cleanser (definite), skin refining masque (not sure), skin renewal booster (not sure)
if I do Vit C facials at derma-rx, will this overlap with Dermalogica's Multi-Vit masque?
I think there are ppl here who have tried both with good results. pls enlighten confused me!

lastly, let me express my thanks to all CCers. My skin's been the best ever since I stopped my meds.
Cos I do research here before buying

if only i can be as cool as you!
i take that to mean the multivit mask doesnt overlap with the vit C facials?

well money wont be an issue only if i decide not to buy ANY more makeup and concentrate on healing my skin 1st

wonder if there's any function to disable the CozyCosmetica threads from my comp though?

Late to this thread but I'm another Vit C fan, so I don't think you can ever get too much of a good thing, although you may want to keep an eye on the dosage of the Vit C you're putting on your face....too much and some skins (like mine) can't take it.

Having said that however, I recently started this decadent 2x a week facial procedure: Sonic Cleanse, followed by Vit C, followed by a calming / Vit C mask. Ahhh....bliss!!! And my skin loves it too! All signs of fatigue VANISH after my 1 hour treat, and plenty of people who see me day in day out have been commenting on my skin.

cos if u don't and do sonic cleansing, the extractions will hurt like crazy!

mine was Coryn - recommended by at least 2 persons here.
but it still hurt lots. i think it's inevitable the 1st time. i HOPE.
using the CF "loosens" the whiteheads/bumps etc, so easier for u and the facialist.
cos she doesnt have to use "gu lat" (brute strength) to force the dormant-for-yrs bumps out.

Pan, u almost made me consider the possibility of going twice a week!

Is the pain bearable? I may go with a friend 2 weeks later to make use of the voucher for the sonic facial.
