Went to Borders Wheelock Place this afternoon..then drop by MTM for the first time. Very clean environment. So colourful bottles of essence...red,orange, green...hehe..so many.

The SA's are friendly. They showed me how the skincare items
are custom blended. There are so many essence for every skin treatment.

The cleansing gel smell like lemon with plant extract..I think same like Clarins. I like the moisturiser, very smooth when applied & not oily.

my friend had her facial done there once and really liked it. she had a deep cleansing facial done. ended with a cooling mask (her favourite part of the facial). the deep cleansing facial costs $115.

she also bought the cleanser and toner at $80 respectively.

the products sound good but very pricey.

I bought the eye gel and I dint like it. Resulted in milias... even though I put only a bit bit.

Went back and told them. They kept insisting that their product will not cause milias and even asserted that I could have applied too much. But I am certain that I dont apply too much, coz I have this phobia of milias....

So, i insisted on my exchange, which they deducted 50% of it... (50% of $89 is quite a bit) and I have no choice but to exchange for a mask (which IMO is terribly priced at $129), since I am not keen on using their cleanser, moisturiser, etc. Its a moisture mask, but I think its onli so so. I have had better results with IPSA moisture mask and its less than half the price.

IMO, its an overhyped brand and too expensive. Could have worked for some, but its definitely not for me.

I've gone there for about eight treatments and is finally seeing some improvement. Not that many blackheads and pimples now. However, the price is really steep there. The cheapest deep-cleasing facial treatment cost $120 and they said that the price has gone up now. They said that it's the normal price for treatment but I'm not sure. The product cost ard $129 for moisturiser/mask and $89 for cleanser/toner. However, for the price I'm paying, feel that I should be seeing some better result

i think with any facial and a good skincare regime, blackheads and pimples can be reduced.... 8 treatments of $120 each to see the results is very costly. I think sonic cleansing at drx might yield better results. Its only $30.

I totally agree with Califit. I too went to MTM for the free facial and was pestered by the staffs to purchase their products. I bought the cleanser, moisturizer and toner. After using their product, my face started to breakout with rashes, whiteheads and blackheads begin to appear. In short, my face condition worsen with the use of their products. I even took up their facial treatment(1 session). They promised a vast improvement after the facial. When I was having the facial done, the beautician told me that my face cannot be cleared in one session and insisted that I come back for another session. She left my face half completed. After the facial they kept persuading me to sign up for the facial package. I eventually left without signing anything. Thank God. After that, I went back and continued using their products. My face worsen again. I was very depressed, after wasting so much of $$$ on the products and treatment, I did not acheive a better skin. Instead it was worse that before. I went to consult a beautician near my home and she advised me to stop using their products and I had facial done by her twice a week. After her facials, my face cleared up alot. I went back to MTM to get a refund, but they insisted that their products could never cause such a result. Instead, inserted a sensitive serum into my products for me to try. I did not dare try their products again.
I will not recommend MTM for anyone to go to in future. Waste of time and $$$$.

Finished my 10 treatment but the effect is not that good. Skin a bit clearer but still got pimples n blackhead. Feel that i can also achieve the same effect if i diy at home regularly. Did a calculation n i've spent $2000+ on their products n facial in just 5 mths. Heart bleeding now...

gosh! this is really disappointing, after spending so much and you don't get to see obvious results. hmmm.. i think you're really patient to go thru the 10 treatments.

dearie, would you mind to do a little intro about yourself on CozyBabe, so that we can get to know you better.

out of topic: so does this mean u can go to drx and just do sonic cleansing? no need to be with facial?

you can. its just that the facialists will advise you to take vit c. if you think really no need, then dont take.
