Re: Where u go for Facial?

Let's make a list of
1) where you go for facial?
In Yio Chu Kang at my beautician's home

2) what type of facial treatment did you opt for?
Mixture. Depends on what my skin currently needs. For example, if I grumble slightly about my facial gravitational fears, she will do firming. If I look tired, she applies stuff that will make me look refresh.

3) what's your review?
I love it simply coz it works! Also she's sensitive to my needs. (read pt 2). She has the amazing ability to judge how much water I drunk lately - just by looking at my face

4) how much is it per session / per package?
$800 for 10 sessions + 1 free facial or back scrub.

5) how often is your facial routine?
3 weeks. By the 4th week, i will subconsciously feel my skin is less smoother despite my regular exfoliating.

1) where you go for facial?
DRX

2) what type of facial treatment did you opt for?

1. Sonic Cleanse with Vit C Mask.
2. FPL

3) what's your review?

love sonic cleanse. i like how the blackheads and other ickies are extracted. the vit C mask is especially good at claming the skin after a sonic cleanse session.

can't say much about FPL since i've only gone for it twice. i opted for this to gt rid of acne scarring. have not seen much results yet.

4) how much is it per session / per package?

per session, SC is $35. vit C mask is $20. FPL is $350. i signed up for a package of 20 SCs and 6 FPLs. i can't remember the price though.

5) how often is your facial routine?

when i first commenced SC, i used to go once evry 10 days coz i had so much junk to get rid of. nowadays, i go once or twice a month. i've gotten more conscientious with my own home routines, such as scrubbing. (i have 3 facial scrubs to go though) and a deep cleanse mask.

mich, how many sessions did it take before you started going once or twice a month?

and why choose FPL over MDX?

facial virgin and intending to take the plunge soon but need more research :sotong: :sotong:

hi duckiee, for SC, i went for about 3-4 sessions before i started going once a month. nowdays due to time constraints, i have been going twice a month. but do supplement with home care products.

i've previously gone for 10 sessions of MDX from another salon and personally, i didn't find them very helpful. with FPL, i believe results can be seen faster. also, i'm not too fond of having a very abrasive instrument against my skin, as with MDX. FPL left my skin rather dry so from once a month, i'm cutting this down to once every 2-3 months.

Fabulous facials!

1) where you go for facial?
Serenity Place at Lucky Plaza

2) what type of facial treatment did you opt for?
Any Jurlique Aroma or Sothys facial/treatment depending on skin condition

3) what's your review?
Excellent! I emerge glowing from the facial (unless I already had a major breakout or something) - no problems going shopping thereafter! My skin remains baby soft and smooth for up to 2 weeks until work stress and lack of sleep/water takes over

My therapist, Angie gives a heavenly head, facial, neck and shoulders massage! The products used are mainly from Jurlique and Sothys. Everything smells wonderful and I go there whenever I'm feeling down for a perk-me-up! Best of all, Angie NEVER pushes products nor packages.

4) how much is it per session / per package?
Basic facial is $65 but can go up to $100 if I opt for treatments. Still very reasonable and worth every cent. Whole session normally takes 2 - 2.5 hrs.

5) how often is your facial routine?
Monthly and as and when I feel like it

yes i've tried the ampoules - for a drastic thing that hap'd to my face.... an allergy! it soothed it really well and after the course, my face seemed be more resilient. my face used to be quite sensitive - e.g. for no rhyme or reason in shopping centres, pink/red patches can devp on my skin... but now it's heaps better.
i've been advised to use it during the change of seasons here in aust but it's toooo expensive to really - 4x a year?!!?!!

there should be one in s'pore. i'll check when i go for my facial on sat.

1) where you go for facial?

I go for my facial at Body Contours at Roxy Square II. Have been going there for facials for the past two years.

2) what type of facial treatment did you opt for?

Purify facial with collagen eye mask. Free shoulders massage

3) what's your review?

Very personalized and comfortable environment to start with. I do think that BC has very good facialists. I was lucky to have Evon (now at DrX) as my facialist during my first year there. My current facialist knows exactly where are my knots and pains when she gives me a massage and trims my eyebrows for free. She is very thorough with her extractions and really really squeezes all the gooey stuff out.

Have been using Natura Bisse products which is sold at BC only and I must say this line has never broke me out.

Can be a bit hard-sell at times but just be firm. After two years with them, they know that I only buy what I need so they don't even try anymore

4) how much is it per session / per package?

I opt for a package of twenty sessions and also twenty sessions for the collagen eye masks since there was a special price.

For packages, I was charged $80/session for facial when usual is $120 (I think)

Can't remember how much is the eye mask

5) how often is your facial routine?

Once a month

2) what type of facial treatment did you opt for?
sign up for their 'active purifying' package.

3) what's your review?
first time i was like 'wow' & enjoy it a lot because of the massage they gave.
now i kinda of not really like the idea they pick on my face, because it was so <color=red>RED!</color>

4) how much is it per session / per package?
about $400 for 6 sessions.

5) how often is your facial routine?
hehe not very often, when i feel like it i just go & see if they have any available dates now.
