I go to home facial place in amk central for sometimes already....
you can write to [email protected], for SK.
She helps me in my dark eye circle, and dull skin
Care to share how much she charged you for each visit, the duration & will your face turn reddish & painful during & after extraction? Did she do the eyebrows plucking or shaving shape for you? Is her place well equipped? A room for us? Aircon or fan?

    Sorry, so many questions.

    • Hi cotters babes all, here goes my review on my last facial:

      1) where you go for facial?
      Nails Culture @ Great World.
She's an all rounder beautician whom does nails, wax and facials.

      2) what type of facial treatment did you opt for?
The last I did was Diamond peel + collagen treatment. The beautician assessed my condition and advice accordingly.

      3) what's your review?
I'd been to just a couple other facials all my entire life as my 1st experience of facials as a teenager was greatly marred by the red spots after my 1st facial of my life. Since then, I'd only tried somewhere else in a spa earlier this year and several facial joints in phuket/bangkok malls.

1st experience at diamond peel, made me feel as though all the old skin was being discarded and I kinda liked the collagen treatment thereafter as it felt very pampering! The after feel was freshly clean- no red spots skin! (sorry if this got abit lengthy, like a blog...)

      4) how much is it per session / per package?
Diamond peel- S$48 and collagen- S$78 (after % due to 1st facial trial) The last i past by, they are having a 1-for-1 promotion now

      5) how often is your facial routine?
Planning to go back end of this month for the collagen treatment...

If you are going to the home facial at AMK (Swee Kum). Her facial is quite basic. No machine involved. Procedures includes cleanse, scrub, steam, extraction, facial mask, guasha and simple shoulder and back massage. No eyebrow trimming. Been there a couple of times. Not pushy and her extractions dun leave any red markings on my face.

i used to have acne as a teenager and relied on facials to clear my skin. been through countless facial packages with good extractions.

if your friend's case is serious, its better she sees a dermatologist instead. However not all the medication may work for her as well and sometimes the acne does flare back after each course of medication.

Yes, I'm referring to hers. How much you paid for those services? Does her service help in serious clogged pores? Since she has no equipments I'm very uncertainly can she helps with all my problems.

Guasa facial is $60 for first trial and $80 std charges - 120mins. Normal facial is $60 - 90 mins. My face is quite alright and only clogged pores around the T-zone. I did the guasa facial during my first visit. Subsequently, normal facials which she recommends as my face was quite ok with only clogged pores. Only been a couple of times only. U can try her out. She will do some basic analysis with you before she start the actual treatment. Probably you can read back some previous comments which other cotters have. She has a private airconditioned room for the facial. Saw from her website recently that she is providing full body massage now also. Am going to try that soon.

                    • chocorumba, great! With your reply, I think I can try out a few time & if she really helps to reduce my skin problem, will certainly recommend to other friends of mine.

I've not been to any facial salon for years already, do I need to undress & wrap myself up like what we did in facial salon? I'm quite conservative & withdrawn from doing so. keke...

Since I'm going for facial soon, will she recommend me any products to buy for my face or I go ahead to buy 1st?

No problem. I guess individuals suits diff facialist and products, what work for others may not work for you. So try a couple of times and then decide. But hers is really quite basic, so not sure if u will like it or not.

She did tell me to wear a spaghetti top as there is simple shoulder massage at the end of the facial. I usually bring one there to change. She will cover your body with a blanket/big towel anyway. So far, she did not ask me to sign up for any packages or purchase any products.

Btw, this is her website, if its of any help: http://moderncouples.blogspot.com/

                          Hi iwan2noe!

Sorry for the extremely late reply, I was very busy for the past few weeks.
Anyway, my facial is called the Payot Signature Facial, it doesn't use any machine, coz she say machines may aggravate my face condition. The facial include scurb, manual extraction, eye-brow trimming, mask and lots of massage steps on the face (suppose to have 72 steps, but I dunno how to count them).

I think it's not the normal kind of facial so it's quite pricey. Maybe you should just tell them your budget and expectations and ask them to recommend.

So far I only went once for facial, and about 3 times for the eye gua-sha (it's charged separately, another package). I like the eye-guasha though, it's abt $49 each time, slightly over an hour with one warm eye-mask.

Hmm.. as for directions, it's located at bishan central, you go towards the bishan bus interchange and beside the bus-conductors' office, there's a small opening, cross the road and walk straight till you see Prima Deli, it's one unit before Prima Deli. Hope it helps!

                          • The Q.X. Spa? I went there for analysis before. The lady boss helped to squeeze 2 from my right cheek & the marks was left there... after it bleed... And the price she quoted me is consider ex... but will still put hers in last of my consideration after the AMK homebased try...

                            Anyway, good luck there.
