  • what is your favourite heat protectant (pre-styling product)?

For someone like me who style my hair daily with thong and iron, it is necessary for me to use a heat protectant prior to all the 'abuses'... Currently I am using chi silk infusion and I love it..

am going to try out paul mitchell heat seal, redken smooth down heat glide and tigi heat glide after this.

Care to share what do you use?

you guys might want to try Kiehl's Heat-Protective Silk-Straightening Cream. I tried it and it really did protect my hair from all that intense heat. It does make your hair shinier, straigter and neater as well (Albeit for only like half a day or so)

im using the sunsilk straight leave in...... it's stated behind heat protectant.... only $4.90........

i use it without the iron cos my iron have not reach.....

using it alone is not bad.... non sticky.... make my hair straight.... anyway juzt 4.95 a big bottle.......

I have dry coarse hair which will turn frizzy when the rebonding effect is gone, just imagine anything bad on badly damaged hair, but if I apply kerastase Ciment Thermique, my hair will look and feel silky again. May not be as great as out from rebonding, so please do not expect this kind of miracle.

I just tried Chi Iron Guard ... lousy!
my hair felt so dry and starchy
what a let-down when their silk infusion is such a great product.

Paul Mitchell Heat Seal is quite so-so, from my experience. I just use a leave-in conditioner (after already conditioning after shampoo) especially on the ends.
