Beside facial and after trying so many off the shelves creams... I think laser is still the best so far with good visible result.
I did major ones like fractional and Microlaser peel before... now I'm maintaining it with a lighter version of Revlite. click here if you want to see what i did
I vote lasers over facial or creams anytime.
oh... i notice if i go cool dry climate like japan or taiwan in winter... my skin looks so tight and pores so fine! yeah... may be I should migrate hahahaha

facial i only go for basic to cleanse & hydrate... to prevent clogs coz mine is the kind that is dry on the outside and oily inside so easy to have outbreaks if i dun keep it clean.
while laser helps to lighten my pigmentation, refine pores & keep it radiant.

there are many ladies going to the clinic i visit... they treat it like facial but i thot the effect is better than those beauty salon.
main thing is always find a trustable doctor... beside the result, i always look at their service & doc's skill & attitudes... it's important that the staff & the doc is concerned about my well being before, during & after my treatment. to me doc must be more professional than beauty salon.

do what is within your budget... for now just keep to the basic:
1. proper cleansing daily (make sure you use make up remover even if you only put on sunblock or light make up)
2. always moisturize (even if you are oily skin... get those hydrating type as most singaporean stay in air-con room all day)
3. proper diet, sufficient sleep and exercise
Hope you will get your beautiful skin soon! =)

I have big pores too! And it comes with a lot of other skin problems :/
My friend introduced me to a skincare range that really helped a lot. The skincare range that I'm using now contains active ingredients from natural sources and it's really suitable for sensitive skin even! I used to break out in rashes when I use the wrong products. So far the skincare set that I'm using now really controls the oil production on my skin, hydrates my skin well and yes, it really reduced the pore size! And quite affordable too! I was still schooling when I used the products, up till now. And I think I'll probably stick with this range for life :D
If you're interested, maybe I can refer you to the skincare specialist who I got this set from? She gives free consultations but of course the products aren't free! haha
just email me at [email protected] if you're interested and I'll send you the info
